My Story
I’m Andrea Florian, a singer-songwriter with a story that winds through music, life's challenges, and real estate, then circles back to my true passion – music.
From the age of 6, music hooked me. I was the kid who woke up eager to play the piano, obsessed by every note and melody. It wasn’t just a hobby; it was a part of me, a constant companion through every high and low.

In my musical journey, I’ve recorded 5 albums and 58 songs, traveled, and performed on stages across the globe - from Toronto and Los Angeles to London and Brisbane. But my music career hasn’t always been a straightforward path.
Life handed me a hefty dose of reality early on with my father’s Huntington’s disease diagnosis, followed by my own daunting journey through genetic testing. Yet, it was my passion for music that propelled me into a period of creation and performance, even amidst the struggles and self-funded ventures that came with it.

Then came a pivotal moment — a breakdown under a bridge in Buffalo, fixing a windshield wiper in the pouring rain at 3 am, after a solo gig in NYC. My hands, used to dancing on piano keys, were now wrestling with mechanical parts, and something within me shifted. Exhausted, burnt out, and drenched both by rain and frustration, I decided it was time for a break.
In the ensuing years, while navigating the joys and challenges of marriage and welcoming 3 amazing kids, I explored different career paths – from managing a health store to founding Florian Realty, a real estate company I still operate today.
Despite every diversion, music was never far from me. Writing songs remained a constant, even when it was hard to find the time.
When the quiet of Covid lockdowns provided some unexpected breathing space, I found myself returning, once again, to my first love. The result is my new single, “Works of Art” - a testament that our paths, no matter how winding, lead us back to where we need to be.
