"Andrea Florian will mesmerize you with her voice"
- The Brunswickan
Some of my best life lessons and experiences come from playing live, being vulnerable and staying connected to truth in my songwriting.
While touring and travelling, I met incredible people with amazing life lessons and experiences that they've shared with me. As I’ve grown older, I've come to realize how lucky I am to have had these experiences, to have met people who have truly changed me and my entire perspective on life. I hope that these are lessons I've been able to pass onto my children and share in my circle and that somehow, this magic continues to grow.
At the end of the day, I've come to accept that regardless of where this musical journey takes me, and as "cliché" as it all sounds, it really is about the journey and I am loving being able to create with a new kind of freedom and a "recharge" of energy and love for the song...
"exquisitely etched songs"
- Billboard Magazine
It's been a long break from producing and recording music, but I never stopped writing and creating.
With the ever changing landscape of music over the last decade or so, it's been a shift for me also. Where does all this creative energy I have fit with the life "balance", the need to pay the bills, the mother in me that wants to contribute to my family but still find space for my writing, which keeps me whole?
When there's less pressure to produce more songs and somehow get noticed, you can really get back to the heart of the matter and just focus on creating something that feels good - that one hopes will help others find "their space". Music has been a healer and a connector for me throughout my life.
